Food waste solutions for small organisations
The A500 might be our most compact machine, but it packs a mighty punch when it comes to transforming food or green waste into a valuable compost resource.
Able to process up to 40 litres of organic material every day, it’s the ideal machine for smaller-scale organisations – cafés, hotels, schools, colleges, and office buildings – that produce low volumes of food waste but want to close the recycling loop on site.
A500 Rocket Composter

- Spec Sheet
The A500 is perfect for processing cooked and uncooked meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, alongside garden and animal waste (including some types of bedding).
This may be the smallest Rocket composter in our range but it’s built to the same high quality standards as our other in-vessel composters. Using stainless steel throughout and minimal moving parts, it is designed and built with longevity and easy operation at its core.
You can increase your overall capacity by first processing food waste with our Dehydra Dewaterer. This equipment chops up and removes liquids first, before feeding it into the composter, to significantly increase the overall throughput (see below).
There are many sites across the world which are reaching their sustainability goals by using the A500 at the heart of their organic waste management strategy, including Woodside Arran Farm, Conscious Cleanup, and Chatham School.
